Abstract:
Nowadays, modern batteries have achieved significant progress, with their energy density and safety in use significantly increased. Lithium batteries represent one of the key technologies of the modern energy sector and play a significant role in the process of global energy transition. A battery is an electrochemical device composed of several components made of different types of materials, on which many aspects of its operation depend, such as lifetime, rate of degradation and price. Lithium batteries have a long history and currently play the most important role in the electric car industry. However, they are also used in devices such as mobile phones, laptops and other electronic devices. Renewable energy sources and lithium batteries play a signifikanta role in the modern energy system today.
