Abstract:
The possibility of modelling the erosion resistance of concrete, by choosing the appropriate component materials, allows to economically provide a higher level of structure reliability, by the required exposure conditions. Overview of the domestic and international scientific achievements in this field has shown that the aspect of all types of erosion resistance, especially erosion of self-compacting concrete (as one of the newer technologies of concrete composites), is still under-researched. Through a series of own experimental research, on different types of self-compacting concrete, it was observed that the type of applied aggregate has a dominant influence on the analyzed property, and then, to a lesser extent, the achieved compressive strength of the concrete. It was also proved possible to establish the functional dependence of indicators of resistance to wear by grinding and compressive strength of self-compacting concrete made with component materials of domestic origin.
